NKS is the student organisation of The Worker's Communist Party (AKP). With marxism-leninism as the guide line, we do political work among students og take part in the class struggle on the side of the working class. NKS thinks intellectuals have a task within the political people's movements. We work for the goal of students choosing the correct side in these matters, not only in the smaller domestic struggles, but also in the large global issues that people are involved in.
Intellectuals also have a responsibility concerning the production of knowledge. It is quite necessary for students, scientists and other intellectuals to be occupied with topics which serve ordinary people, not only what companies are willing to pay for. At the same time, students must stand together and fight for their own interests when these are attacked by capitalists and governments.
